How likely are you to recommend Dr. Pierce?
I waited 2 months for my appointment with Dr. Pierce. When I finally got to meet him, he gave me less than 3 minutes of his time. Seriously. While Dr. Pierce himself is reputed to be a world-class neck surgeon, in fact, your appointment won't be with Dr. Pierce. Your appointment will be with his resident physician who is not even Board certified. My 10 minutes spent with his resident physician were squandered answering her questions while having no opportunity to ask my questions. And yet, that was the whole point. I was there to ask questions to enable me assess the risk-reward ratio for whether I should go forward with surgery. I never got to ask questions which means I left my appointment as uninformed as I was before I came.I also went to extraordinary effort to hand-deliver a data CD with MRI images of my tumor. To my knowledge Dr. Pierce never looked at it. Or at least if he did look at it, in another room, he did not share or discuss it with me.
