Family member got taken to SSM by ambulance due to having a seizure at work. This doctor tried discharging the person stating he “fainted”. Person was convulsing, bleeding from the nose, foaming at the mouth, and unresponsive for minutes. He was also disoriented for 30-45 minutes afterwards which are all signs of a seizure. Doc said his electrolytes and blood sugar are fine and a CT scan showed nothing. He refused to do an MRI as “we don’t do those here” or do any scans with a contrast. He never put his hands on the patient to do any test for strokes or weakness anywhere. We left and went to Theda in Neenah and they immediately did MRI and CT with and without contrast and located a blood clot in the brain as well as a brain bleed and instantly transfered to ICU. And this guy wanted to discharge him and send the patient home saying he’s fine.
