I had a lower facelift and neck lift with Dr. Matt Goldschmidt on April 29, 2025, and almost a year later I am still dealing with the fallout. After surgery, I developed a seroma and have had severe pain, pressure, and ongoing issues that never should have been brushed off the way they were. I understand no surgery comes with guarantees, but there is a huge difference between a known complication and a doctor who does not meaningfully deal with it when it happens. What has been most disturbing to me is not just the outcome, it’s how little accountability there has been. I spent nearly a year trying to handle this privately and reasonably. I asked for help.
