I highly respect Dr Ficenec, find him very professional, and caring. He performed what is described to me afterwards, a very difficult and challenging surgery. Dr Ficenec listened very well to my concerns, and in fact took me as a patient when he was due to be gone away. His staff treated me well, daily visitation during in hospital care, and offered full support and provided outstanding care. His explanations of treatment, surgery, and continued care were outstanding, rational, and fully allowed me to choose options of care. I highly recommend him to anyone for general surgery issues. I feel I owe him for a life I felt I was losing. He still stands by me for care and/or need for things that are still necessary.
