Dr. Maryellen Brucato, DPM

While I never questioned Dr. Brucato’s medical skills and very much liked her as a doctor, my opinion changed after how this situation was handled. My daughter had foot surgery scheduled after Dr. Brucato and my daughter determined surgery was the best option for her chronic pain, after having foot injections repeatedly. In fact this was always the first appointment when my she came home from college because she was suffering so much. Office visits had always gone well, and Daysha at the front desk was always great. Three weeks before surgery, it was abruptly cancelled because of a miscommunication with her office staff. We were left with no time to find another doctor and schedule surgery before she returned to college. The pain is siginifcant and her feet are quickly deforming as Dr. Brucato is aware. My daughter repeatedly asked to speak directly to understand why this was happening, but she refused! Her complete lack of compassion and basic human kindness is shocking.
