I went to the ER with breathing problems a week after my Urgent Care visit. I'm a healthy 52 y/o woman with no medical issues. Urgent Care said no pneumonia, just a nasty bacterial virus going around. One week later, I still couldn't breathe, so I went to the ER. I am so very lucky that I did. I ended up having a Pulmonary Embolism and Pneumonia in my right lung. That blood clot may not have been found if more testing wasn't ordered. Dr. Marlena said she just felt that it was something more than the pneumonia...hence the additional testing. She was very kind, thoughtful and darn good at her job! This world NEEDS more Doctor's like her!
