I came to Dr Wilson after continuing to experience pain after a meniscus surgery done by another doctor. Wilson listened to me that I was still in pain and we found that I was missing cartilage and that my cartilage in my knee was damaged again. We went forward with a MACI surgery and recovery was going well with PT until after I was done with PT I hit I wall in my recovery. I continued to tell Dr Wilson that I believed at my close to one year post op check up that I was in more pain than I should be. I was constantly dismissed saying that I was because I needed to build more muscle. After moving to a different area I was still in pain and now have to regularly use a cane to get around. I went to another doctor and he found that my MACI didn’t take and im in pain because my knee cartilage is yet again damaged. There were no follow up mri scans with dr Wilson to see why I was still in so much pain. I was just dismissed.
