My 86 year-old father went to Dr. Weidenbaum experiencing extreme pain while walking. The doctor casually diagnosed with him a condition called sacroilitis and prescribed nothing but PT. Given that he could not walk at all without severe pain, I had my dad get a second opinion at HSS. An MRI revealed extreme arthritis in his hip requiring a hip replacement. Even worse however was the fact this Dr. Weidenbaum refused ro sign a form to help my dad get a temporary handicap parking placard when it was clear he could barely walk even with the assistance of a cane. Then his office refused to return several calls about this. This was a terrible experience for my dad. This doctor and his office are mailing it in and making no effort to serve their patients. I recommend looking elsewhere.
