Discharged my child within 24 hours after starting a failed treatment and did no labs to verify his treatment plan was working.This led to downstream effects such as surgery and borderline sepsis that may have potentially been avoided if he was treated correctly from the get go.His concern was discharging us per billing guidelines, not following actual medical IDSA/PIDS guidelines.
