We chose Dr. O’Brien based on her credentials and positive reviews, but our experience was immensely disappointing. My husband underwent major colorectal surgery (removal of half the colon and appendix). We did not receive a post-op check-in call, and we were not informed in advance that Dr. O’Brien would be on vacation immediately after surgery, which left us uncertain about continuity of care.My husband got food poisoning from the hospital and had to go to the ER with no check in or follow up from Dr. O’Brien.At the post-up visit, the office admitted they were unprepared for his appointment and there was confusion about why he was there.I later requested to speak directly with Dr. O’Brien but never received a response. I would advise others do their research and be wary of Dr. O’Brien and Colorectal Associates.
