Went to Dr Szydlo for 5 years. Was treated for RA for all 5 years and ultimately misdiagnosed for RA when it was chrons. She put me on a cancer drug (methotrexate) and constantly pushed me to increase this drug for all 5 yrs. It offered no help, but kept me constantly flaring, swelling, in pain. After getting off the drug and starting proper treatment for the accurate diagnosis, that drug not only didn't help, but left me with early menopause and infertility in my 30s. She knew what she was giving me would negatively affect me for the rest of my life. She is evil!!! Dr's are no better than customer service agents. Keep calling until you find one that is compassionate, caring, knowledgeable, willing to listen, goes above and beyond to do the work and stops at nothing to address the root cause not the symptom. Get someone who will advocate for you not blindly lead you down a rat infested sewer with no way out.
