Dr. Komal Pordal, MD

I came in with an existing ADHD diagnosis seeking medication management. I disclosed a documented history of serious SSRI reactions. Dr. Pordal refused to treat my ADHD and pushed fluoxetine instead which caused severe shaking and temperature regulation issues within days. When I reported the reaction I was told to stop the medication and that any further information would require another appointment despite my appointment being only 7 days ago. There is no nurse line or direct messaging all communication goes through texting a receptionist, making it nearly impossible to get guidance during an adverse reaction. Im left with an unpaid bill, untreated ADHD, and a preventable drug reaction. I did not feel my concerns were heard or that my care was the priority. It feels like their only concern is making as much money as possible through multiple appointments. I thought this doctor was an adhd/autism specialist and would really help me and I’m truly so disappointed.
