I saw this doctor because multiple other providers have been telling me to see a hematologist for irregular bleeding. Prior to this appointment all of my lab work came back negative for anything which is why my other providers sent me here because it is an issue they couldn’t figure out. Upon arrival, the Dr. Abulegasim told me I was fine and that my bloodwork was fine. I explain I know my bloodwork is fine but I have had multiple providers tell me I have excessive bleeding. She told me that I don’t bleed that much (even though she did not physically see anything). Then she continued to tell me that is was all in my head. She then told me that since I have anxiety this is all in my head (I am a college student of course I have anxiety but it is completely managed and that was put in my chart 6 years ago by my pediatrician). She then continued to say I also have PTSD in my chart. I have never had PTSD and told her that, and she said well you do it’s in your chart. I looked in my chart later after my appointment, and it said post concussion disorder from a concussion I had 3 years ago. She just didn’t even read it correctly. I then told her what she thinks is causing these issues then and she told me she was just a doctor in a community hospital and that I should see a specialist since I wasn’t content with her (all she did was read labwork that I already had results from). This appointment was absolutely pointless, and I felt not listened to or heard. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone as she might tell you it’s all in your head and invalidate your symptoms that have been witnessed by multiple other doctors.

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR !! She literally came into the room and said oh there’s nothing wrong & you’re fine. Meanwhile my primary REFERRED me to her BECAUSE of my high white blood cells. She says there’s clearly something wrong. ABUELGASIM thinks there’s no problem. She didn’t even run any tests or even ask me questions. Please find another doctor that cares and is willing to help unfortunately SHE is not it
