I felt very confident and comfortable under Dr. Wanamaker's care. She showed a high level of professionalism and leadership with her team in the OR as well. As I was being anesthitized, her final words to me prior to beginning the heart proceedure was "I've got you Dave, I'm going to take care of you." As I drifted off into sleep I was comforted by her empathetic and caring words.
