Referral first visit: Dr did not have medical records, prescribed imaging and promised to provide Rx’s for pain. Never heard back about the Rx’s, but did complete the imaging. Second office visit: after two wasted months, was able to schedule an appointment. Dr would not consider my input, and after a short review of the imaging, his departing comment was “I cut, and I don’t see anything to cut, so you’ll have to find someone else.”Fast forward two months: An ER visit revealed bilateral subdural hematomas that had occurred over months, possibly causing the symptoms. Brain surgery was immediately performed and recovery continues. Whether or not the brain bleed is identified as the cause of extensive symptoms or not, I remain disappointed that Dr did not consider other possibilities.
