Dr. Kolikof is the best ER doctor I have had the experience of being treated by. As someone with a chronic illness, I am no stranger to the emergency department and have seen a range of doctors, many of whom appear to be disillusioned with the medical field, overworked/stressed, or simply unwilling to really take the time to listen. Dr. Kolikof from the beginning was patient, attentive, acknowledges my own understanding of my illness, and seems to really listen. It would be my hope that all patients presenting to the ER would be treated with this level of respect and great bedside manner.
