I had MOH's surgery at Dr. Burkes along with Dr. Thornton. It was the worst experience I have ever had, and I had 3 other MOH's surgeries to compare it to which were done in Annapolis. The stitches were left in way to long & the directions for caring for the extensive wound they created were unheard of by any other dermatologist. The worst part was, with a highly infected wound, 3/4 of the stitches were removed without numbing or pain medicine. The rest were left in for another week that ended up imbedded and needed to be cut out. Both doctors did nothing to address any concerns. Please go elsewhere for care.
