Patient Reviews

He was amazing, patient and reassuring. Very honest and extremely approachable. He was involved in 2 of my neurosurgeries, and he made me feel very safe to proceed in an experimental brain surgery. He’s also a very cool and relatable guy with a great sense of humor. I would absolutely recommend him to my closest friends and family. I am eternally grateful for his position at UofL. When he consulted with me pre and post operatively he genuinely listened and validated all my concerns. He does not interrupt. While Dr Neimat is a renowned neurosurgeon, he relates to his patient as a multifaceted human being first, and will make accommodations on an individual basis. Plus he’s a really cool guy. You can tell he would be fantastic in any field he chose. With that said, I’m very glad his life steered him toward neurosurgery. I’m grateful for all the sleepless nights and sacrifices he must have had to make along the way. If this makes sense, I felt like he was in the process with me and we would each grow from my surgeries. He’s brilliant, but he is also quite humble.
