My name is John H. and I'm writing this on behalf of my wife regarding an experience that was not only dismissive, but deeply concerning.My wife recently visited Dr. Joseph Lillo after experiencing significant physical and hormonal changes, including noticeable hair loss. Like many people trying to understand unexplained symptoms, she did her own research and raised a concern about possible Cushing's syndrome during her appointment.Instead of being met with professionalism, curiosity, or even basic respect, she felt her concerns were brushed off in a dismissive manner. She was advised not to rely on online research and was told that her symptoms were likely related to weight gain and normal aging. This response was discouraging, especially given that she was seeking help for symptoms that were causing real concern.My wife left the appointment feeling unheard and uncomfortable, but she continued to advocate for her health.
