UpdatedSaw Dr. Joseph Horton in Harlingen for knee replacement surgery. Post-op was terribly painful but I recovered. On the plus side, Horton did a good job. Would’ve been better to see him on my follow-up visits but he was busy with other surgeries. My last visit with Horton was pre-surgery. His PA, Mr. Dones, was attentive and personable. He also referred me for physical therapy. The exercises at Therapy caused spasms and pain in my lower back. I needed heat but there was no order for heat. They needed an order from the Doctor. I called Horton’s office. They won’t provide the order because they did not treat my back. My PCP won’t issue the order because they didn’t order the Therapy. In the end manager called and apologized.
