Dr. Jonathan Zwart, MD

I’ve seen Dr Zwart for a few years. He’s usually friendly but a little rushed. I have a complicated inner ear disease with several surgeries by Dr Epley years ago. After a procedure I came home and fell on the back of head from severe vertigo. After a week I called for an appointment because the vertigo caused another fall. I called the office several times to get in. I felt I had to become assertive on my chart to get an answer. When I came in he was so angry and red in the face because he saw my note on my chart that said “I need an appointment now, or I will have to go somewhere else.” I am a quiet older woman and have never seen a doctor that was so openly angry and aggressive. He hadn’t looked at my chart to see what had happened. He asked me if I had trouble getting in. I said yes and he said “you got the run around, right.” He was so upset that he put me on the wrong end of table and the nurse had to correct him. I still am truly shocked.
