Getting someone to return a call was difficult. I was asking about test results because I had to postpone a followup appointment and wanted to be sure that was safe. The office worker who called could not explain results (or even acronyms), so I asked politely for a PA or NP to call me. An office worker called a few days later and informed me that PAs and NPs 'cannot call patients' because 'they don't do telehealth.' I just wanted the person who was giving me test results to have SOME knowledge of the information in those results. Both callers were rude, shockingly unprofessional, and showed a complete lack of empathy that I expect from a physician's office. I will not be returning to this doctor, but I want him to know about the rudeness of his staff. Additionally, the appointment was originally in another location but was changed by the doctor's office. Parking was awful; the waiting room was so crowded that heart patients had nowhere to sit. This office needs to do better!
