I became a patient of Dr Shockley's back in the late 90s until I moved out of state around 2011. He never rushed me, always listened, and actually seemed interested in getting to know me as a person (!). 15 years later and I still have yet to find a primary care physician with the same standard of care as Dr Shockley (and I've had at least half a dozen since). Sadly he was my first PCP so every subsequent doctor has suffered from the high bar he set. If I ever move back to Cincinnati, I would immediately return to his practice without hesitation.
