Oh it was horrible. Had an appointment set for my mother. I forgot to tell them that she will need an interpreter. When I called the office, they said they would call me back. Dr. Pierpont refused to provide an interpreter once he found out she was deaf. I told him it’s against the law to not provide an interpreter. He said he didn’t care and she should go to the University where they have interpreters. He even refused using Video Relay Service. All of which is also covered under any medical insurance. Nothing out of pocket to him depending on where you go. My 84 yr old mother has more specialists than fingers. Each provide an interpreter. Everytime. Not Dr. Pierpont. He discriminated my mother. Would you wanting to treat your mother that way. He and his attorney may want to visit a case that my mother had with Oro Valley Hospital vs. Anna Marie Pascoe. It made the news. Oro Valley Hospital now treats my mom like your mom. Dr. Pierpont does not. My mother and father are advocates for deaf rights. They have been mistreated. Simple case!
