The phelbotomist was awesome. But since Newton Medical does not know how to code a lab visit I will be charged for a doctor's visit . Even this survey shows you think I saw a doctor. You set up the appointment with a phlebotomist. This was never a problem prior to Newton. Annual lab work should not be charged as a seperate visit. It is much better medical care if annual lab work is done prior to annual exam so your doctor can go over the results with you to guide better care . By charging an extra visit, from now on, I'll wait for the annual exam to have my lab work done. Then I and my doctor cant discuss results and guide my care for best outcomes. I'll have to get the results later and guide my own care cause if I go to the doctor to discuss it after the fact you charge me for another visit.
