My husband was treated by the physician in the hospital as a result of emergency surgery after open heart surgery, caused by the removal of the wires in his heart. We were advised that he needed a follow up appointment in 7-10 days subsequent to discharge. I called the office and spoke to Tevy, who is the scheduler and was told that she had nothing available for 1-2 months. I then told her that all of the other doctor’s offices rearrange certain things to make sure they could see the patients that they had treated and were released from the hospital. She told me she would not “move any appointments for my benefit”. I explained again it was not from me, it was for my husband and I was advised to indicate this when we made the appointment. She told me I will not apologize and this is how we do things in this office.
