When the Doctor entered the room, it was my first time meeting him. I extended my hand to introduce myself and shake his hand but he ignored the gesture. At first I assumed he may not have noticed so I didn't think much of it during my visit even though the rest of the visit was very cold. The Doctor collected a sample for testing and about 10 days later I received the laboratory results via email from the lab. However, the Doctor did not contact me to discuss those results until 3 months later. When he finally called, he apologized and explained that he was approximately 3 months behind in notifying his patience of their results. The lack of timely communication regarding my medical results was concerning and did not leave me with confidence in the level of care provided.
