He told me if they didn't find out what was wrong with me while I'm alive they will when I'm dead. That was such a hurtful, discouraging thing to say. I felt abandoned by my doctor and I felt sadness at that statement because I felt like no one cared. This isn't a remark that a physician should say to anyone.
