It never occurred to me that doctors would call me well after their work hours just to talk to me, and this was not a one-time occurrence either. I’ve received at least 3-4 calls from Dr. White when I never expected them because he wanted me to know results as soon as possible, and, well, to also follow up on any unanswered questions I had. Today (yesterday as i’m writing this, long day), he got ahold of me as soon as he could after having his hands full of procedures to make sure I got to the er following some very concerning symptoms. He then also talked to the er staff personally (on the phone, it was late) and they brainstormed the results of testing together. Unbelievable. During a procedure I had done myself, I was in excruciating pain, and he did his best to keep things moving swiftly and efficiently. Once all was said and done, he checked on me to make sure I was okay before letting me rest. As stumped as we are, he’s yet to give up. I appreciate that. Worth the wait times.
