This week I had an appointment with pulmonologist Dr. James D. Kaplan. His office staff took my information in a timely manner, which I appreciated. A few minutes later, Krupa Patel, his lab technician, called my name and guided me through a series of pulmonary tests. She explained each test clearly, which I found really helpful. Afterward, I was taken to an exam room and informed that Dr. Kaplan would be with me shortly to give me the results of my tests. Dr. Kaplan stands out from many other doctors. He didn’t rush through my lab results; instead, he took his time to explain them in an easy-to-understand manner. Additionally he compared my results to those of other women having my same height, weight, and age. It’s clear that Dr. Kaplan is knowledgeable and his office is well organized, but most importantly, I felt he genuinely cared about my well-being.
