I mentioned multiple issues, since this was my 'getting established' visit: IBS, heart palpitations, some mild ED. Got 2 prescriptions written (after long discussion, this was NOT a 'throw meds at it and hopefully it gets fixed' situation) and an EKG within the hour. EKG happened to catch my palpitation. Benign, luckily. I also had misc labs ordered immediately. He seemed to appreciate my 'Dr Google' questions. Believed my word on everything I said, including the opinions of past GI specialists. He did not make me feel stupid at all, which I think is growing increasingly rare. Fairly young doctor, so he is 'with the times' and up to date on recent studies. I don't think I've ever left the doctor's office happy before, but he made me feel extremely well-heard and taken care of. 10/10
