I was seeing Dr. Johnson’s for a few years after a surgery I had gotten. At first he was okay. Bedside manner wasn’t the greatest but he was helpful. One day I get a call from his NP and she tells me there was something wrong with my drug test. Long story short my drug test didn’t show I was taking a med I was prescribed. But I actually WAS taking it. It ended up being a false negative. Without letting me speak to my doctor she told me they wouldn’t retest me. So my PCP ended up testing the same sample and it was positive for the med. However before the results came back, Johnson told my PCP that I was erratic, and trying to ask for dose increases all the time which was not true whatsoever. He just made that up. He painted a picture of me as if I was abusing meds. Him and his nurse treated me horribly because of this. After this, he refused to see me anymore, even though it was his office‘s fault. He did apologize, but it was a really lame apology that he clearly didn’t mean.
