Dr. Jacob Mong, DO

Rushed through cataract procedure and was sent to a Folding chair by the door to "recover." It was hurry, hurry and out the door! Damaged the skin around my eye when he "ripped" the adhesive off my eyes when he was finished. When I reacted with a surprised reaction he told me "dont worry they will grow back," indicating my eyelashes. The problem wasnt the lashes it was the skin that pulled quite hard. Two and a half years later, that eye sags and the skin kind of hangs at the corner. He told me that it would heal and it did not. The surgery area was extremely small and not at all professional as a setting for this kind of procedure. The staff was in a hurry to get to the next patient. It felt like a rush to get as many people through as possible. I would love for him to pay for me to get my eye repaired, but I dont trust his integrity.

If you have an issue, I would highly recommend Dr. Mong. I just can’t say enough good about him. I found Dr. Mong after I had a botched cataract surgery from a different doctor. At my first visit with Dr. Mong, I knew I had found the right doctor to restore my vision. Dr. Mong was understanding and he listened to me. He is so knowledgeable and he explained everything to me along the way. I have to say restoring my eyesight has been quite a process. But, Doctor Mong with his team of experts did restore my vision. Now I can see again. And after this long journey he performed cataract surgery on my right eye which came out perfect. I will be forever indebted to Dr. Mong.
