I was referred to the practice for Dry Eyes which came on very quickly and aggressively. I was greeted with 'there is no magic answer' and felt rushed and not heard. Actually, I was talked 'to' and finally said 'I have some questions' He just seemed annoyed and like he was going through the motions. I am a very young 63 and this was the first time I felt ageism by anyone. I asked about a treatment machine for dry eyes on their website only to be told it was broken and they don't have anyone to repair it, great! I felt no empathy for the 9 months of dealing with this condition and only to be told again and again he has no magic answer. I wasn't seeking a magician; I was seeking a medical professional who might give me treatment options. Maybe he is good for younger people, but my gut feeling was that of being dismissed due to my age. Disappointing for sure.
