Dr Hirohisa Ikegami is an extremely knowledgeable intelligent proficient cardiac surgeon who is very dedicated and focused about his work. He methodically explains the procedures involved step by step, illustrating the scenario via diagrams. He and his team listened to our questions and concerns patiently and with great care. They answered them explaining the specialized, complex, technical issues using simple, plain language that an average person can easily understand. He and his team knew and respected the importance of involvement of the loved ones before the surgery and in recovery of a patient. The office environment was superb. The staff was very polite and cordial. Appointments scheduling was easy and set for mutually convenient times. The care, kindness, trustworthiness and politeness before and after the surgery was profound and touched our hearts. I and my family members are extremely grateful to him and his team. We definitely recommend him and his team enthusiastically and lovingly to all the cardiac patients.

I had coronary artery bypass grafting x4 performed by Dr Ikegami. First of all Dr Ikegami did the surgery on Saturday and didn’t want to wait till Monday because he felt that it was an urgent situation. Dr Ikegami explained everything before the surgery exactly what he was going to do and he was very clear about it. Dr Ikegami’s staff are so well trained and real professionals it was amazing to deal with them on every level. My recovery is exactly what Dr Ikegami said was going to be and it’s unbelievable what I can do already around the house . Dr Ikegami is an amazing human being and is a real angel from heaven, I am so grateful that he did my procedure and nobody else, S. F.
