As a first-time mother, my experience with Dr. Helio Zapata was very disappointing. Throughout my pregnancy and delivery, I often felt dismissed and not truly heard during an already vulnerable time.I had a C-section, and I was told the incision would be around four inches, but it ended up being significantly larger, closer to seven inches. This left me feeling shocked and misled.After delivery, the lack of follow-up care and empathy stood out most. During my incision check, he briefly looked at my scar and said, “Okay, looks good. You can cover yourself now,” without really addressing my healing or concerns.As a first-time mom, I needed more guidance, patience, and reassurance. Instead, I often felt rushed through appointments with little support or explanation.I’m sharing this so other mothers, especially first-time moms, can make informed decisions. Every patient deserves compassion, clear communication, and respectful care during pregnancy and recovery.
