Don't expect to come visit and explain issues you are having about your own health. She'll find an issue she has with you and won't stop talking about it. For me, it was my weight. She spent about 25 minutes going over everything I need to do to lose weight, even though I explained that I'm aware of steps I need to take to achieve it, including my plan to increase exercise with my new job. Yet, she continued on for another 10 minutes. She's a great example of a pot calling a kettle black since I'm pretty sure her BMI is higher than mine.Other issues my partner has experienced are problems getting refills for chronic medications. She only wants to prescribe one-month prescriptions at a time without making an additional appointment. When asked why she does this, her response was 'That's the problem. I don't know why patient's think they can schedule one visit and get a year's worth of refills?!' Make a good decision, choose another PCP.
