After having found an amazing Rhuemy about 5 years ago- he is no longer practicing and I had to find a new Dr. We all know how long it takes for someone to finally hear us! I had my symptoms manageable finally- then I went to Dr. Ahn --who seemed to have great reviews- dhr decided my previous doctor didn't seem to know what he was doing- and she told me to stop my meds. Her bedside manner was also not very warm - I was used to such a positive vibe from my previous Rhumy- but Wanting to give her a fair shot- I stopped by drugs like she asked and for 3 days I was in debilitating pain- when I contacted the office there response was 'take acetaminophen'- that doesn't help my pain!! I was very discouraged and feeling the way I did 15 years ago when this whole mess started! I didn't feel heard or believed or welcomed or cared for. I have since found another Dr- who is great!
