Dr. Gloria Martinez Salazar, MD

Dr. Salazar requested imaging that I already had. I asked repeatedly over the course of a month if she needed me to redo the imaging via message and calling her office. No member of her staff was able to get a simple yes/no answer. I quote her staff when I expressed my concern over unresponsiveness as they say she is “just like that” and that they “get chewed out by her patients all the time” over issues like this. Upon canceling my consult filing a complaint with patient relations, her office called me begging to make an appt trying to talk me into seeing her. They still did not have a simply yes/no answer about the imaging request. They told me I could do my appt, and that if she wants more imaging I could have a second appt. I don’t think a doctor should get to bill my insurance for a full extra appt just to get a yes/no answer. Personally, I wouldn’t entrust my care to a surgeon that can’t be bothered to answer very basic patient questions.
