I recently had a total knee replacement, using a spinal block. Dr Zane provided the anesthesiology services. Anxious prior to the surgery, I asked Dr Zane for a diazepam (or whatever) to relax. He said, 'You'll be feeling a lot better here pretty quickly.' Perhaps 5 seconds later, I felt light pressure on my spine. Not painful, more like a finger pressing on my back. The next thing I knew, I was in the recovery room. Operation went perfectly. My surgeon told me that Dr. Zane is the best.
