Dr. Gary Matthews, MD

I didn’t like this Doctor . My experience with him was not great . If you need any FMLA or STD paperwork , he won’t fill it you . I was going through a serious mental breakdown where I was sent to rest and get treatment under FmLa by my primary doctor . My job required dealing with people , driving , physical work like climbing ladders and working on roofs . My condition would make it difficult to interact with others and my panic attacks and anxiety would take over causing serious physical symptoms like dizziness , blurry vision , high heart rate . I talk to Dr Matthews about and he told me that he was not incline to recommend a short term disability unless I was going to be admitted at a mental hospital . Basically he brushed off my concerns and just kept on sending medications . I wanted the time off to seek therapy ,counseling and other treatments other other than meds , and Dr Matthews apparently didn’t find my condition serious enough to provide a certification for STD
