How likely are you to recommend Dr. Felger?
Dr. Felger is an EXCEEDINGLY good surgeon. Dr. Felger has an immensely good pedigree. Yes, I looked up everything about her first, I don't generally trust Drs without some background research. She went to all the best schools and graduated at the top of her class (it also looks like she graduated early from medical school because she was in the top 1% of her classmates). Now THAT is the Dr you want! I had my follow-up appt with a different Dr, since I live out of state. The Dr said he'd never seen such a low uptake (if I'm getting it right) for a thyroid, basically meaning there was NO cancer left in my neck. She is the only female Dr in the area doing "trans-oral thyroid surgery," which is new, safe and leaves no scarring. If you're not a woman, you don't understand how hard we avoid having a huge, knobby scar across our neck; one of my friends has a BIG scar and has to wear a scarf. She also called my Dr and me a year later to see how I was doing. She gets my Highest recommendation!
