I was playing pickle ball when I had a sudden sharp pain in my right arm. I thought I must have torn something. I suffered awake taking every OTC medication I had. I could not sleep, eat, move for 12 hours. My entire body felt like it was in one big muscle cramp. The pain was 10 out of 10! I finally decided to go to the ER. Dr Burke walked into the doorway without entering the room and said ?if you didn?t hold your body that way you wouldn?t hurt?. This was her door-way assessment of my problem. I was discharged with a muscle cramp/spasm. I went to my doctor straight from there and had an MRI the next day that showed a severe pinched nerve with multiple bone spurs. Within 2 weeks I could no longer move my right arm. I ended up having emergency surgery with a wonderful neurosurgeon out of Ocala. Within 12 hours after the surgery I could move my arm. In my honest option any doctor that diagnoses and treats from a doorway should not be called a doctor.
