Dr. Emily Purcell, MD

I received a certified letter from Emily Purcell today stating that she would no longer treat me. That's perfect, since I cancelled all appointments with her the day after the medication reaction. The problem is, she signed the letter stating she no longer wanted to treat me BEFORE she called me back about the reaction that had now been taking place 36 hours. EMILY PURCELL SIGNED A LETTER SAYING SHE WOULD NO LONGER TREAT ME BEFORE CHECKING TO MAKE SURE I WAS OK. This Doctor cared so little, she took time to write up a letter before calling myself or my husband to make sure I was even still alive. Emily Purcell signed this letter before calling me back 37 hours after the initial onset of symptoms of allergic reaction. The supervisor 'Jen' told me I was supposed to go to the ER... Spend the money that I don't have because not one of 18 doctors could return my call due to their answering service issue. Truly a heartless & overall traumatic experience.
