How likely are you to recommend Dr. Trowbridge?
Referred by UVA gynecologist, 1st appointment was with the NP said something wasn’t right, she couldn’t get a catheter iin so we made another appointment with Trowbridge and did a urine diary. When I got to see her, she rammed the catheter in with me screaming out in pain and said my input and out were pretty equal so there was nothing wrong. She didn’t listen to me. I had lost all sensation to urinate and had trouble urinating when sitting on the toilet and was constantly swelling up and would look like I was 9months by the end of the day. My bladder would fill up when I laid down. She dismissed me and said I was fine. I finally found another doctor who listened to me and am now recovering from 4hr surgery. I had pelvic adhesive disease. My bladder was adhered to my uterus and my abdominal wall and the ureters were completely encased. My bladder was enlarged, couldn’t expand, and wasn’t working properly. This could have led to kidney failure. Find someone who will listen.
