Dr. Desmond Adamu, MD

Met with PA who spoke with Dr. Adamu and both recommended surgery for testicular cancer following radiation. Went to MD Anderson for 2nd opinion it was not a correct diagnosis, good think I have the resources for the 2nd opinion. They insisted I get the surgery immediately. I have been calling to cancel appointments they answered then hung up, attempted to call several times but they keep hanging up. So disappointed with diagnosis and services.

The story of my uncle 76-year-old man in the hands of a careless Dr. Desmond Adamu. How my uncle started to see this doctor was in the hospital Nap medical center/Weslaco, TX. My uncle had a procedure performed to both of his kidneys with placement of a drain coming from each kidney this procedure was perform in September.my uncle was discharge from the hospital with the drains coming out from each kidney and a urostomy pouch from his bladder on September 24,2023. DISCHARGE PAPERS: F/U appointment October 9,2023. @ 2:15pm Dr.Desmond Adamu. RGV Urology 110 E Savannah Ave Bldg. C Ste 201McAllen, TX 78503 Friday 10/06/2023 called his office 3 times talk to Chantelle and I requested a call from front office no one return my call, I wanted to know if anything was needed before my uncle’s appointment. Monday October 09,2023 appointment day, my uncle gets there @ 1:30 pm. My uncle is in a wheel chair has 2 drains and a bladder bag. @ 2:50pm Lorena the office manager is having a rude tone of voice with me because the insurance information is incorrect and I tell her you office had since September 24,2023 to gather any information that was needed before this appointment and after me calling 3 time with no one returning my call to make sure we wouldn’t have this kind of problem and so my uncle wouldn’t have to be here going throw this you tell me your office has policy’s and you are not going to see him until his insurance is clarified, Lorena: he can go else were to be treated if he needs to be seen or he can return to the ER we will not see him no matter what you say his insurance is not clarified go else were. Lorena is the office manager a person unprofessional, carelessness, unethical skills. I requested to speak with Dr. Desmond Adamu worst experience ever I was in disbelieve hearing him speak Dr. Desmond Adamu,: I don’t see patient or even see their chart before confirming that his insurance will pay for my services this is not a Renaissence hospital were they see patients for free if I would see one patient for free I would not make a living, go somewhere else were your uncle can get charity care I am an independent doctor and do not take care of long term care patients like you uncle. Me: but my uncle has 2 drains coming from his kidneys that can get infected, my uncle is you patient are you really that un compassionate and don’t care about a human life and are more interested in the little money you can make from his insurance. Dr. Desmond Adamu ; I WILL NOT SEE HIM OR HIS CHART INFORMATION WITH NO INSURANCE MY FINAL WORDS I HAVE TO GO! GO TO RENAISSENCE THEY WILL SEE PATIENTS FOR FREE NOT ME, IMAJINE IF I WOULD SEE EVERY PATIENT THAT CAME HERE WITH NO INSURANCE I WOULDN’T MAKE A LIVING!!!! I was just in disbelieve by this time it was about 3:30pm the time he spent talking to me he could of seen my uncle but he did not.
