My mother had hip replacement surgery with Dr Michel in July 2022. Two years later and she refers to Dr. Michel's surgery as "the point where my life was ruined." Dr Michel's surgery split my mother's femur from her hip to her knee. A complication he did not notice for over two weeks. He then passed her off to a different surgeon who specializes in repairing hip and knee surgeries that weren't performed well the first time. While the second surgery was better, this meant two surgeries for a woman in her 70s. She is in more pain now than before Dr Michel's surgery. We wish we had never met Dr Michel.
