Dr Burk recently did a knee replacement for me. His demeanor was professional and kind. He did an amazing job and I was walking without assistance after the first week! Recovery has gone smoothly and I have full range of motion. I’m extremely pleased will be doing my other knee soon. I would highly recommend this surgeon!

I needed a revision after he inserted the stem and cup of the hip implant so that they impinged (neck hit cup so ball could never sit in socket). The stem had to be removed and redone (major) because it was also malrotated and too close to the pubic bones (also impinging). He did not even attempt to help me when I presented with the symptoms - instability, audible clunking, feeling like my leg wasn’t in the right place). His pleasant demeanor completely changed as soon as he felt I “wasn’t happy” with my THR. After seeking help from top specialists, including the head of the hip service at HHS in NYC, I learned I needed a revision. I do not recommend this man.
