Dr. Dante Raneses, MD

I had to see Raneses for a follow up after a trip to the ER for mild diverticulitis. My physician was on maternity leave so I had to see her colleague. I brought my husband as I was skeptical because I never met this man. Dr Raneses was dismissive and rude. He never looked at me only my husband. He looked at my chart and the meds I was on and LAUGHED. Then said “Wow, and began reading the list of meds, and said “that’s a lot”. “Who’s your doctor? This doctor was actually mocking a person who was taking medication for depression and anxiety. At this point, my husband let him know these medications helped me. I looked at the doctor and said “talk to me”! Dr Raneses made me feel bad about my mental health. I was invisible. I have never experienced such disregard by a physician. I left there so upset and in tears.
