Dr. Daniel Clerc, MD

It's been two years since I was referred to Dr Clerc and I'm still shaking my head. I have chronic insomnia; I sleep approximately 3-4 hours each night. When I filled out the questionnaire, I could already tell that everything was geared toward sleep apnea. I already knew how this appointment was going to go. Dr Clerc seemed cordial, I explained to him that I have been unable to sleep for several years and although I HATE RX meds, I felt that I needed to try something that would get me back on track. I thought that we were on the same page, but at the very end of my appointment, he said 'well...before we do anything, I'd like you to go for a sleep study'. A sleep study? I do not sleep! Of course, I know that there is more money for doctors when they send you out for testing and recurring appointments. Complete BS! Now, I think about Dr Clerc every night when I'm doing laundry at 3 a.m. Sad that a 'Sleep Specialist' cannot help a person who can't sleep. Actually, pathetic!
